JUNIOR LODGE MANAGER – 5* LODGE EASTERN CAPE
Salary: R13,000

1.Minimum criteria required:
Qualification: Formal Hotel Management Diploma/Certificate and/or 2 years working experience as Trainee Manager or similar position at 4/5 * Establishment
2.Key Performance Areas of this position include:
Primary purpose of the job: To work with an assistant or Lodge Manager to provide support in the daily operations of the lodge
-Responsible for checking the rooms after housekeeping has cleaned
-Checking the restaurant’s functioning during meal times and supporting the service staff
-Provide support to the kitchen staff during meal times
-Checking guests in and out, and hosting the guests during their stay
-Act on guests requests for additional services and supplies
-To liaise with senior lodge management to report anomalies, variances and new ideas for improvements
3. Competencies required:
– English – Well Spoken
– Presentable
– Customer Focused
– Computer literate on MS office suite, GAAP and OPERA
– Good Hosting skills
– Driver’s Licence
– Contributing to team success
– Good knowledge of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping & Front Office
