Full-Time Guide/Duty Manager Couples Position 5* lodge Hoedspruit Area

HIM :
• Minimum FGASA 2 or at least FGASA 2 theory and practical in the pipeline.
• DEAT registered
• TRAILS guide theory and practical – he needs to be able to walk with guests in Big 5 area
• Weapons handling
• PDP
He needs to be :
• Not older than 35
• Male
• Presentable,
• Well spoken in English as he will deal with 5 star guests – mostly foreigners
• Excellent guest relations
• Great inter-personnel relations
• Good work ethics, responsible
• Previous 5 star experience
• Basic maintenance skills
• Must be willing to do service at mealtimes
• 6/2 work cycle
• Live in & all meals and part uniform

Salary from R6000-R8000 depending on qualification an experience

Salary between R5500-R8000 depending on qualifications and experience

– Applicants need to be presentable sophisticated, well groomed and neat on appearance with the necessary refinement.
– The applicant needs to be well spoken and have great grammar/spelling skills in English.
– Good guest relations, general knowledge and love of the bush.
– Applicant needs to be a social person (but also able to live in a remote area)
– Must be reliable, have a strong character, honorable and act with integrity at all times.
– Be responsible for running the office/curios shop, stock takes, checking guests in and out, hosting and caring for the valuable guests.
– Applicant must have a good eye for detail as the lodge relies heavily on ambiance and detail e.g. flowers, tables, candles, displays etc.
– Applicant will be answerable to the owners
– F&B background would be a big bonus
– Must be passionate about living in the bush
– Previous experience in 4* or 5* lodges
