Administration Manager – Limpopo

Administration Manager – full time position (starting with a 3 month temporary contract)
Location: Limpopo

Salary: Highly Negotiable depending on experience

Seeking an individual with administration experience to support the project and the project coordinator in all administration and project duties so that the company can fulfill its mission and objectives.

Key Performance Areas :

General office administration, including invoicing, basic book keeping and organisation of meetings
Support and assist the project coordinator to implement company mission
Collection of information pertaining to the company strategy
Report writing for the steering committee, supporters and donors/ sponsors.
Facilitate and implement communication , with particular emphasis on support for newsletters and regular updates for supporters and press releases for media
Maintain donor relationships and contacts
Responsible for the membership and growing the membership
Supporting role in fundraising coordination and implementation, especially for large fundraising events
Research and investigations into external funding opportunities, and provision of assistance in writing proposals and co-funding applications
Responsible for all stock management, including liaising with lodges and businesses for stock sales
Coordinating role for environmental education elements

Requirements :

Be proficient in both English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written
Be passionate about the conservation of rhinos
Have strong marketing and sales attributes
Computer literate in all MS office applications and have proof of administration experience
Be able to use social media and write press releases
Have an open and friendly personality and be able to work independently and without supervision
Be deadline orientated and have attention to detail skills
Be able to occasionally work on weekends
Basic book keeping, fundraising or event management experience preferred
Knowledge of the Waterberg area preferred but not necessary
Driving licence and own vehicle for transport to meetings etc, mileage will be reimbursed
This role is expected to grow in time and it would advantageous if the selected candidate could carry out small group presentations as well as corporate presentations
Should have initiative with regards to fundraising ie. Not relying purely on delegation from the working steering committee.
Should be able to compile yearly reports for sponsors
